About
Olly Murphy
We are blessed with a fantastic team of staff at Warren Chase Stables. It’s a privilege to work with young talented people that share your ambition and drive for success!
Having had our best season to date, training over 100 winners for the first time, earning more than £1 million in prize money and training a Grade One winner, the upcoming 2024/25 National Hunt season looks the most exciting to date. We’ve an extremely talented bunch of horses to go to war with, mixed between established household names and an array of young talent coming through the system here at Warren Chase.
Last season was a special one, with Strong Leader winning a Grade One, Brewin’upastorm winning a Graded race in Ireland, and many Listed and Graded winners among the many exciting weekends throughout the winter we managed to have. There seems so much to be optimistic about for the new campaign!
I’m delighted to say, once again, we have a number of new faces who have new horses in training with me, of which we would like to welcome to the Warren Chase family, along with many loyal and long-standing owners and friends who have continued to invest into the project we have going on here in Wilmcote.
Once again, after a fantastic year, I’m delighted to say Sean Bowen continues his role as stable jockey. So unfortunate not to be last season’s champion due to injury, we will be doing our best to get him over the line this year, with both quality and quantity to ride. He will be backed up by Kevin Brogan, a new name to the fold at Warren Chase. Champion conditional in 2020/21, he brings plenty of experience. Lewis Stones is now down to 3lbs, having had a fantastic year last year and we will continue to support him as well. Beau Morgan, another new name here at Warren Chase, is our 5lbs claimer, who has valuable experience and is a big asset to us all. Lewis Saunders rode his first winners as a professional last year, and is great value for his 7lbs claim. Once again, James King heads our amateurs, fresh off the back of his championship last year, he’s such a valuable asset to me here at Warren Chase. Jonny Rees holds an amateur licence, and I’m looking forward to helping him gain experience throughout the season.
With a mouth-watering bunch of horses to look forward to, I’d like to wish my owners, staff, jockeys, suppliers and supporters the very best of luck for the new season.
Let’s hope it’s a season to remember!
Good luck,
Olly’s Big Winners
