We are blessed with a fantastic team of staff at Warren Chase Stables. It’s a privilege to work with young talented people that share your ambition and drive for success!
As my hard-working team and I head into our 6th full season in the training ranks here at Warren Chase, there’s a whole host of reasons to feel optimistic. We have a foray of bumper horses to send novice hurdling, a lovely group going novice chasing, and a smart bunch of bumper horses and handicappers to go to war with as well.
As we are becoming more established – having now trained nearly 500 winners across both codes – our team for the 2023/24 season has real strength in depth across the board and we hope that there could be a star or two amongst them!
Once again, we have been supported by an extremely loyal bunch of owners, including some new faces who we warmly welcome to the Warren Chase family. We’ve been active in buying horses both privately and through the sales ring during the summer, searching for the next winner and with plenty of new faces dotted amongst the barns here at Warren Chase, the future looks bright.
On the jockey front, I’m very lucky to have Sean Bowen as my first choice for the season and he will ride when available. Sean will be ably supported by Fergus Gregory, Aidan Coleman, Lewis Stones, Dave England and my new 7lbs Conditional, Dylan Johnston. Amateur Lewis Saunders will soon be turning pro and claiming 10lbs, whilst we are also very fortunate to have the services of the multiple champion amateur James King, supported by Oliver Boyden.
Going in to the new season, I’d like to wish all of my owners, staff, jockeys, suppliers and supporters the very best of luck; let’s hope it’s one to remember!
